On March 31st, 2010 eight “thermal batteries” in Concord MA
began correcting the minute-to-minute imbalances in power on the electricity grid.
These electric thermal storage furnaces, which heat homes when electricity
is cheap, are now harnessed by VCharge technology, into an aggregated demand-side
